Refunds & Returns Policy

DirtBag Mycology enforces a highly rigid quality assurance and asset tracking framework to preserve absolute cleanroom security across our entire supply network. Because mycological cultivation gear and specialized media lots are highly sensitive to microscopic environmental vectors, our refund and return criteria are classified by separate product parameters.

01 / Sterile Media & Substrates (Perishables)

Due to strict biosecurity protocols and the volatile nature of biological growth mediums, all sales of sterilized grain vessels, pasteurized bulk casing mixtures, and prepared agar matrices are final. We cannot accept returns on these items under any circumstances, as breaking the secure custody chain exposes the media to ambient mold vectors, making it impossible to re-shelve or guarantee purity.

02 / Mycological Instrumentation & Hardware

Unused, non-sterile hardware items (such as climate controllers, digital sensors, workflow tools, and un-assembled flow hoods) are eligible for return considerations within 14 calendar days from the delivery timestamp. Items must arrive back at our tracking hub in their original, unopened manufacturer packaging with all factory security seals completely intact.

03 / Delivery Discrepancy & Damage Logging

We take extreme care in verifying transit packaging standards. In the rare event that your structural parcel suffers structural breakdown or transit compromises during carrier handling, you must log a formal claim with our corporate assistance nodes within 48 hours of delivery. Photographic evidence of the uncompromised internal vacuum seals or damaged hardware frames is required to authorize an immediate priority replacement run.

04 / Return Shipping Operations

All approved hardware returns must obtain a formal Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) ticket from our help desk before shipping. Return freight expenses and structural shipping protection remain the exclusive responsibility of the procurement applicant. Packages sent without an approved RMA reference token will be refused and returned at the shipper’s expense.
