Fulfillment & Return Policy
DirtBag Mycology operates a commercial-grade supply infrastructure providing specialized substrates, media, and instrumentation under the parent operations of DirtBag Ventures LLC. To ensure biosecurity compliance and protect our confidential channel distribution networks, the following protocols govern all orders.
1. Live Arrival & Sterile Media Guarantee
All sterilized media, specialized agar preparations, grain bags, and liquid cultures are manufactured and sealed in certified sterile laboratory environments. Due to immediate contamination risks upon exposure, all media sales are final.
We offer a strict Arrive Alive & Sterile Guarantee. Inspect your media shipments immediately through the transparent barrier wrap before opening the factory seals. Any compromised seals or signs of degradation must be reported to our dispatch desk within 72 hours of delivery to qualify for an immediate warehouse replacement. Once a product seal is breached, all store liabilities terminate.
2. Hardware, Instruments & Tool Returns
Non-consumable hardware, environmental automation controllers, laboratory glassware, and precision sterile tools may be returned within 30 days of the original delivery date. To successfully process a return, items must remain completely unused, uncalibrated, and resting in their original commercial packaging with all original factory shrink-wraps and holographic serial tags intact. Returns showing signs of moisture exposure, laboratory staging, or structural modifications will be rejected instantly.
3. Carrier Transit Damage & Discrepancies
Our fulfillment hubs employ heavy-duty parcel packaging to safeguard fragile laboratory components. In the event of rough carrier handling resulting in physical damage during transit:
- Retain all outer parcel shipping containers, internal padding, broken elements, and packing slips.
- Take clear, well-lit digital photographs of the damaged shipping box showing the carrier tracking label alongside the broken items.
- Submit these verification assets to our logistics support portal to file an official carrier insurance claim.
4. Dropship Logistics & Routing Restrictions
To preserve strict channel privacy and our blind-dropshipping distribution integrity, all returns are processed through centralized regional logistics centers using unbranded documentation.
CRITICAL WARNING: Do not return any packages or hardware shipments to the fulfillment warehouse address printed on your initial carrier parcel layout. Returning items directly to the manufacturing facility without an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) ticket will result in the immediate forfeiture of your claim.
